For years Al served as a board member for numerous charities. Having seen the good work that these organizations accomplished, Al decided to dedicate even more of his time to helping children and families in need. He founded Al’s Angels with the mission of providing moments of joy and comfort to families that are challenged by childhood cancer, rare blood diseases, AIDS, domestic violence and financial hardship. Through hard work, an amazing group of volunteers, and tremendous generosity, today Al’s Angels is able to help thousands of children in the tri-state area. Now thru an intimate partnership with the Catholic Health Association of India; the work of Al’s Angels is providing children in dire need of vital and lifesaving medical treatment with hope and support. As support for Al’s Angels grows, we look for partners to help in expanding our loving reach to children around our country and the world. |

Farm Sanctuary – Farm Sanctuary was founded in 1986 to combat the abuses of factory farming and to encourage a new awareness and understanding about “farm animals.” At Farm Sanctuary, these animals are our friends, not our food. Through the years, we have rescued thousands of animals, and educated millions of people about their plight. People are shocked to learn about the intolerable conditions that are commonplace on today’s industrialized farms. Our rescue and education work continues, as we advocate for laws and policies to prevent suffering and promote compassion. We are reaching out to legislators and businesses, and working to bring about institutional reforms |

God’s Love We Deliver -Founded in 1985 when one woman began delivering food on her bicycle to a man dying from AIDS, God’s Love now cooks 3,600 meals each weekday, delivering them to clients living with life-altering illnesses in all five boroughs of New York City, Newark and Hudson County, New Jersey. All of our services are provided free of charge to our clients, their children and to the senior caregivers of our senior clients, without regard to income, and we have never maintained a waiting list. Because we believe the combination of hunger and serious illness is a crisis, we deliver food within 24 – 48 hours of first being contacted. |

Stadium Kids Kamp is a summer theater camp that offers children the opportunity to develop an appreciation for the arts, while learning the basics of theater and performance in a fun and safe environment. No prior theater experience is needed. Campers learn to sing, dance and act with experienced directors, choreographers and musical directors. |
